Compliments From An Elderly Neighbor
I’m privliged enough to have my local library about two blocks away from my house. Mom allows me to walk there by myself now.
Dad has taught me to walk with my head high, shoulders back. Confidence. I have since adopted that and tried to appear confident, though sometimes I may not be.
Anyway, on one of the corners lives one of my elderly neighbors. Through one of my family members, I heard that she said something like she likes seeing me walk by because I look so graceful.
I’ve honestly never been told that I walk gracefully. I’ve been told I dance gracefully, but walking? That’s a new one.
Just something I wanted to share.
