My Thoughts

October 7, 2011 2 comments

It’s hard to find modest clothes in this day and age. If you find a skirt, you might find an appalling slit up the back. Head coverings are mainly found with the Amish, Mennonite, Muslims, and even then some people label them as ” weirdos ” or ” strange “. A skimpy tank top is accepted by some, shorts that could double as panties are worn in public without shame.

Seriously, it seems that more modest clothing stores are online!

Why is it acceptable, in this day and age, for girls, teens, and women alike to wear skimpy, immodest clothing? Is it because people are afraid of rebuke if they speak out against it? Why is the subject of modesty so hard for pastors to approach? Because they don’t want to cause discontent in the church, are they afraid of offending?

Just some of my thoughts.
